On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, GEC hosted one of our events: GEC Connect, which is also referred to as the GEC talk show, featuring our guest speaker, Ms. Dian Purnamasari!

The session highlighted how teamwork, communication, trust, and collaboration are essential for achieving success as a group. Through her talk, Ms. Dian expressed her thoughts on how collaborating well can significantly impact both school and everyday life.

We discovered that Collaboration and Teamwork are alike, but they are not exactly the same thing. Collaboration creates connections, and teamwork shows us how to cross those connections together. Through her joyful and respectful teaching style, Dian helped each member understand how vital teamwork, communication, trust, and collaboration are.

In the talk show, GEC members were asked to think about their roles in the team and how they can collaborate to create a friendly and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable sharing and expressing their ideas.

At the end of the session, Ms. Dian asked us to take a little time to understand ourselves more by describing both ourselves and others with three adjectives. This straightforward activity truly prompted us to think about how we view ourselves and how we see the people around us.

To sum up, the GEC Talkshow was a success. It reminded us that we don't reach success on our own; it's built through teamwork, trust, and coming together.
