On Tuesday, March 30, 2026 (10 Shawwal 1447 H), Junior High GIS 2 Serpong held a Halal Bi Halal event at the Ulil Albab Mosque. All teachers and students participated smoothly without any issues.

Before the opening ceremony, all teachers and students performed the Dhuha prayer. After the prayer, the event began with an opening by the MCs, Ashfa and Dimitri. The program continued with Tilawah and Sari Tilawah led by Daffa and Viona, who recited Surah Ali Imran, verses 133–134. Their voices echoed beautifully throughout the mosque.

After the recitation, everyone took part in the Ikrar (pledge), led by Iqlima and followed by all teachers and students. This was followed by a speech from the honorable principal, Mr. Guswika Bobitanto. After his speech, the audience listened attentively to a Tausiyah delivered by Mr. Alif.

The next agenda was the announcement of students who had completed the Khataman Al-Qur’an (30 Juz) during Ramadan. Mr. Zul called the names of students who had completed the Qur’an more than once. The students felt grateful and happy, as their efforts (ikhtiar) in reading the Kalamullah (Word of God) had paid off. The mosque was filled with joy and a sense of accomplishment.

Afterward, the MCs continued the program with a Du’a led by Mr. Mamduh. Everyone raised their hands and prayed to Allah SWT. The formal event was then closed by the MCs. Before returning to the Junior High unit, all teachers and students participated in the Halal Bi Halal tradition through musafahah (handshaking), led by Kevin. Students shook hands with their teachers and peers, sharing happiness, forgiveness, and a renewed sense of connection after the long Eid al-Fitr holiday.

In conclusion, this Halal Bi Halal event was not only an annual tradition but also a meaningful opportunity to strengthen relationships, foster unity, and promote forgiveness. Hopefully, this event will help create a harmonious and blessed school environment at Junior High GIS 2 Serpong. Aamiin Ya Rabbal Alamin.
